Your role

As a technical assistant, you will help with the assembly, installation and maintenance of moveable swimming pools and the associated sanitary and technical installations.

You will be working on site, on new installations and within existing systems.

You will contribute to high-quality, energy-efficient and technically sound projects that can be deployed flexibly.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assembling and installing moveable swimming pools at various locations
  • Installation and connection of sanitary fittings
  • Installation and maintenance of swimming pool equipment
  • Installation, connection and maintenance of heat pumps
  • Carrying out electrical work in connection with technical installations
  • Identifying and resolving technical faults
  • Working to plans and technical diagrams
  • Working with fellow technicians and project managers

Your profile

  • You have a technical qualification (electromechanics, electrical engineering, plumbing, HVAC or equivalent).

  • Experience with plumbing, swimming pools, heat pumps and/or electrical installations is a major asset.

  • You combine technical insight with a hands-on approach.

  • You’re good at working independently, but you’re just as effective when working in a team.

  • Your approach is characterised by precision and a solution-oriented mindset.

  • You are flexible and keen to develop your skills further.

  • Must hold a Category B driving licence; other driving licences are an advantage.

  • You remain calm under pressure and can work effectively towards a deadline.

Technical skills

  • Carrying out routine maintenance on installations and machinery
  • Analysing faults, making diagnoses and repairing faults
  • Configuring, adjusting and testing systems prior to commissioning
  • Identifying interventions and planning maintenance
  • Carry out technical inspections and monitor the proper functioning of installations
  • Assessing and carrying out modifications to installations
  • Provide technical support where necessary

Knowledge and expertise

  • Electricity and wiring diagrams
  • Electromechanics and automation
  • Measurement and control technology
  • Pneumatic
  • Reading technical plans, drawings and diagrams
  • Working with testing and measuring equipment
  • Use of portable power tools and hand tools

Safety and quality

  • Application of electrical safety standards and general safety rules
  • Correct use of personal and collective protective equipment (PPE and CPE)
  • Working in an environmentally and health-conscious manner
  • Working safely and ergonomically
  • Keep accurate records of work

Additional advantages

  • Preparing technical documentation
  • Strong communication skills when working with colleagues and external partners
  • Experience with teaching support or knowledge sharing is an advantage
